PLACEMENT POLICY

All students participating in the Training & Placement (T&P) process of the Institute are required to read, understand, and strictly comply with the following guidelines:

1. Registration: All students must register with the Training & Placement Cell and provide accurate and complete information in the prescribed format.
2. Campus Recruitment Registration: Registration for every Campus Recruitment Process is mandatory. Last-minute registrations will not be accepted.

3. PAN India Mobility: Students participating in the placement process shall be willing to attend interviews, tests, and other recruitment activities anywhere in India (PAN India), as required by recruiting organizations.
4. Location Flexibility: Students shall be willing to accept employment at any Geographical location, as per the requirements of the recruiting organization.
5. Recruitment Process Commitment: Students participating in any placement drive must complete the entire recruitment process and shall not withdraw or back out at any stage without prior approval from the T&P Cell. The job profile, JD, eligibility, CTC, location, and other relevant details will be communicated before the process. Upon selection, students must accept the offer and comply with the company's terms and conditions.
6. Commitment After Selection: Once a student accepts a job offer, the student shall not decline the offer or refuse to join solely due to location preference or any other reason and shall fulfill the commitments associated with the accepted offer.
7. Professional Conduct: Students shall maintain professional behavior, discipline, decorum, and appropriate etiquette throughout the placement process and uphold the reputation and image of the Institute.
8. Utilization of Opportunities: The Institute facilitates placement opportunities; however, students are responsible for participating sincerely and making the best possible use of the opportunities provided.

9. One Offer / Other Offer: A student holding an existing offer may participate in another placement opportunity only if the new CTC is more than double the existing CTC, subject to the guidelines of the Training & Placement Cell.
10. Compliance with T&P Guidelines: Students shall strictly follow all rules, schedules, eligibility criteria, instructions, and procedures communicated by the Training & Placement Cell/TPOs.

11. Mandatory Participation: Once registered for a recruitment process, students are required to attend all scheduled tests, interviews, pre-placement talks, and selection rounds. Absence without prior intimation and valid justification may result in exclusion from subsequent placement opportunities.
12. Travel & Other Expenses: Students shall bear all expenses related to attending recruitment activities outside Nagpur, including travel, accommodation, local transportation, and other incidental expenses, wherever applicable.
13. Accuracy of Information: Students shall provide true, accurate, and complete information and shall not submit false, misleading, or fabricated documents/information.
14. Communication with Recruiters: Students shall maintain professional communication with recruiters and follow the communication protocol prescribed by the Training & Placement Cell. Direct communication with company HR/recruiters shall be avoided unless specifically permitted.
15. Placement Opportunity: If a student is eligible for and opts to participate in a company's selection process, the opportunity shall be considered as utilized and provided by T&P Cell. The student is expected to participate sincerely and complete the selection process.
16. Offer Acceptance & Joining: Upon selection and acceptance of an offer, students shall comply with the terms and conditions of the recruiting organization and complete the joining formalities within the stipulated timeline.
17. Submission of Offer Documents: Students shall immediately share their Offer Letter/Letter of Intent (LOI)/ Appointment Letter with the designated T&P Faculty Coordinator upon receipt.

18. Change in Placement Status: Any change in placement status or decision regarding participation in the placement process shall be communicated promptly to the concerned TPO/T&P Cell with a valid reason.
19. Non-Participation: Students who do not wish to participate in the placement process shall formally communicate their decision and submit the prescribed undertaking to the T&P Cell with a valid reason.

Misconduct: Any misconduct during the placement process, including missing scheduled recruitment activities without prior notice, providing false information, refusing placement commitments, or displaying unprofessional behavior, shall be considered misconduct and may attract disciplinary action as per Institute rules.

20. Disciplinary Action: Violation of the Placement Policy may result in disqualification from the placement process, restriction from future placement opportunities, reporting to academic authorities, and/or disciplinary action including suspension or expulsion from the Institute, as per applicable Institute rules and regulations.
