Overview of International Cell

With the vision of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakkam” (The World is One Family), SIT, Nagpur offers extensive opportunities for students to develop a global outlook and prepare for an international workforce upon graduation. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has established academic collaborations with over 80 renowned international universities, enabling students to participate in the Global Immersion Programme. This includes a six-month Semester Abroad Programme and short-term initiatives like Summer Schools, Winter Schools, industrial visits, and internships at partner universities worldwide.

SIT students regularly get opportunities to participate in Semester Abroad programs at prestigious institutions like Deakin University (Australia), Leeds Beckett University (UK), Macquarie University (Australia), University of Liverpool (UK) etc. In addition, SIT, Nagpur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IOWA State University, USA, to offer an accelerated MS Program. Through this partnership, B.Tech CSE students can complete seven semesters at SIT, Nagpur, followed by one semester at IOWA State University. They can earn an MS degree within 18 months and gain the opportunity to work in the USA for up to three years after graduation.

Distinguished academicians and scientists from around the world are invited to teach, conduct workshops, and deliver lectures at SIT, ensuring students stay updated in their engineering domains. The curriculum is regularly revised to align with international standards, and faculty members actively collaborate with global counterparts in research and academics, ensuring they remain at the forefront of technical education. The institute encourages all its students to engage in the Global Immersion Programme to enhance their engineering education through rich international exposure.
