Dr. Nilesh Shelke is Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering Department of Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur. He is In-charge of Entrepreneurship Cell. He is actively involved in the establishment of the quality startups. He is M. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from RTM Nagpur University. He is M. Phil in Computer Science and also acquire Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from S.G.B. Amravati University, Amravati. He is Microsoft Certified Solution Developer and has more than 24 years of experience of imparting IT Training which includes learners from different streams, faculties and Microsoft Certifications to corporate employees. His area of research includes image processing, natural language processing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning etc. He has published patents, copyrights and sellable technical articles in the renowned journals. He has also authored the books Introduction to Machine Learning, An Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

As the Co-Incharge of the E-cell (Entrepreneurship Cell), she is committed to fostering an environment where innovation, creativity, and technological advancements thrive. Her diverse background in Electronics and Communication engineering, along with her expertise in IoT, makes her uniquely suited to drive initiatives that bridge the gap between technology and entrepreneurship. Her vision is to inspire and equip the next generation of engineers and entrepreneurs with the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to succeed in an increasingly tech-driven world. By fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, she aims to ensure that Symbiosis Institute of Technology’s E-cell is a hub for technology-driven startups and solutions. She provides mentorship to students aspiring to venture into the world of technology startups along with the Technology Integration. She organizes and leads workshops, seminars, and hackathons focusing on emerging trends helping students translate their ideas into viable business models. Actively engaging with students, she encourages entrepreneurial thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration, providing them with the tools and guidance to launch their own startups.

Entrepreneurship Cells have been introduced in Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur to play a crucial role in nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary support, guidance, and resources to turn their entrepreneurial dreams into reality. At Entrepreneurship Cell, we aim to inspire university students to start their own ventures and dispel the many fears that surround starting one's own company. To this end, we conduct several events, seminars and workshops both for students of and beyond our college for the purpose of cultivating this entrepreneurial spirit. Entrepreneurship Cell is provided with the dedicated infrastructure for the working of startups.
