Symbiosis Institute of Technology established three research groups to strengthen its interdisciplinary research ecosystem and promote collaborative innovation.
These groups aim to align research activities, enhance applied output, and drive innovation-driven teaching, learning, and industry collaboration.
The Research Group IICS, in collaboration with the Research Cell, is organizing an IDEATHON on 9th October 2025 (3:00 PM–5:00 PM) to spark creativity and research-driven ideation among faculty. Participants will complete the Invention Disclosure Form, with guidance from Dr. Bhupesh Kumar Dewangan for clarifying queries. The session aims to finalize all forms for same-day review and approval by the Director. This IDEATHON provides a collaborative platform to generate and refine innovative ideas at SIT.
The Research Cell organized a Scopus Profile Correction Meeting on 28th October 2025 to help faculty verify and update their Scopus author profiles. The session focused on correcting publication records, citation metrics, and affiliations to ensure accuracy and enhance global visibility. Faculty were also guided on linking Scopus IDs with ORCID, resolving duplicate entries, and maintaining consistent author information. This initiative reinforces SIT Nagpur’s commitment to research excellence, academic integrity, and strengthened scholarly recognition.
