About Service Learning
Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (SIU) is actively engaged in imparting quality and holistic education to students from India and abroad for the almost two decades. SIU endeavours to bring social change that will benefit society and the nation through service learning, which is an essential component for undergraduate students.
Service learning is a teaching methodology; it falls under the philosophy of experiential education. More specifically, it integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience, teach civic responsibility, encourage lifelong civic engagement, and strengthen communities for the common good.
