Scholarship
To foster academic excellence and empower deserving students, the Symbiosis Society Foundation offers a range of scholarships and awards. Students can apply for various State and National level scholarships, as outlined below:
Key Highlights
Merit-Based Scholarships: For outstanding academic performance.
Need-Based Scholarships: For students excelling academically but requiring financial support.
Special Achievement Awards: Recognizing excellence in extracurricular activities, research, or innovation.
Program-Specific Scholarships: Tailored for students in specific disciplines.
Diversity and Inclusion Awards: Supporting underrepresented groups and women in education.
International Student Scholarships: For exceptional contributions from international students.
This scholarship is applicable to all semesters of UG programmes. Students topping in the semester exam in order of merit (Top 1 to 4) should score the highest GPA in the current semester. Students’ academic excellence should reflect a minimum GPA of 8.50 (UG).
First four toppers in the order of merit of every batch of every programme in every semester will be awarded the Merit Scholarship.
The scholarship recipients are granted rebate in Academic Fees of the semester, applicable to all full-time Post Graduate and Under Graduate degree programmes of all the constituents of SIU, as below:
The scholarship amount will not be paid directly to the students. It will be transferred by the University directly to the constituent for adjustment in academic fees of the following semester.
In case the student is a topper in the last semester of the programme, the scholarship amount will be transferred to the student’s bank account as per available records.
