The Workshop is the central facility of the Institute, consisting of various departments such as Welding shop, Carpentry shop, Fitting shop, Sheet metal shop, Foundry shop, Machine shop and Injection Moulding shop.
As a part of the curriculum, the undergraduate students get hands on experience in the Workshop and its sections by carrying out their assigned job work and projects. And also, students utilize the facilities available at the workshop for fabrication purpose of their academic projects.
Workshop department also supports the R&D projects of the institute handled by various faculty members.
The Ph.D. research scholars and post graduate project related work is also supported by providing them assistance in fabrication and manufacturing related activities.
In addition to regular academic related activities, the Workshop department undertakes various fabrication and manufacturing related consultancy work from other Symbiosis Institutions and from individuals/other organizations,
