Dr. Rashmi Sharma is currently an Associate Professor at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Symbiosis International (Deemed) University, Nagpur Campus, Maharashtra, India. Prior to this, she was affiliated with Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore until April 2024. From June 2014 to August 2022, she served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun. Dr. Sharma earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan, H.P., India, in December 2014. She also holds an M.Sc. (2008) and an M.Tech. (2010) in Computer Science from Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan, India. She has published over 30 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences and holds 5 granted patents. Her research interests include Real-Time Systems, Distributed Systems, Internet of Things, Computer Vision, Blockchain, and Algorithms.
