Dr. Purushottam Deorao Shobhane

I am Dr. P. D. Shobhane working as Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Symbiosis Institute of Technology., Nagpur. I earned my Post Graduate Degree, M.Sc. (Mathematics) from Nagpur University in the Year 1990 and my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Gondwana University, Gadchiroli in 2018.
Authored 4 books on Mathematics, namely, 1. Engineering Mathematics (11th Edition, 2023).
2. Engineering Mathematics, Vol.- I (2018),
3. Modern Algebra (1994), and
4. Differential Calculus (1994), Received a Travel Grant from AICTE in 2010 to attend an International Conference, ICMS,2010 at Bolu, Turkey. Published a total of 7 research papers in National/ International Journals (Including 1 SCI + 1 SCOPUS + 2 WEB OF SCIENCE) and published 8 research papers at the National/ International Conference. Association with Research Centre: Helped the research scholars registered at Priyadarshini College of Engineering Research Centre recognized by RTM Nagpur University in solving Optimization and reliability of experimental/ field data-based models evolved during the execution of six various research programmes during 2007-09. Worked as Chairman for ‘Workshop on Syllabus Redesigning of Applied Mathematics III & IV’ organized by S. B. Jain College of Engineering, Nagpur.
