Dr. Praveen Kumar Dhankar

Dr Praveen Kumar Dhankar is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Sr. Grade) in the Computer Science & Engineering at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) located in Nagpur Campus, India, India. He is a Fellow of the prestigious Royal Astronomical Society (FRAS) in the United Kingdom as well as Associate Visiting Researcher at the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune. He is a junior membership program at the prestigious International Astronomical Union. He is also a BOS member of the Board of Studies for Mathematics, Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek.

He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur, India in 2021. His research areas of specialization are Relativistic Cosmology and Mathematical Physics with the focus research interest Modified Theories of Gravity, Bayesian Statistics, Data Analysis, Machine Learning. He has qualified CSIR-NET Examination in 2016 with the 11th AIR Ranking conducted by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, India. He has received three-time DAC Research fund award from the Isaac Newton Mathematical Institute Cambridge University, United Kingdom. He is also received 02-times IOP Early Career Researcher (ECR) award from Institute of Physics (IOP), United Kingdom. He has received the total research fund of more the Rs. 43 Lakhs from different Indian and foreign research institutes. He is actively associated as a Core Committee member of the following research group of Institute of Physics (IOP), United Kingdom as (a). IOP Astroparticle Group, (b). Mathematical and Theoretical group and (c). IOP Early Career Member Group. He is also working group member of CA21136-Addressing observational tensions in cosmology with systematics and fundamental physics (CosmoVerse) and CA18108-Quantum gravity phenomenology in the multi-messengerby EUROPEAN COOPERATION IN SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY (ECOST).

He has organized 08 scientific events as FDP/Workshop/Seminar as a coordinator, which was funded by the institutes like AITCE ATAL FDP Scheme, Inter-University Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune, National Centre for Mathematics (NCM), a joint centre of IIT Bombay and TIFR, Mumbai and Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research (AMD), DAE, Govt. of India, Hyderabad.
