Dr. Giridhar Urkude is an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur, a constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune. He completed his PhD in 2022 from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India, on the specialization “Interoperability for IoT architecture using Semantic Web”. He holds an M.Tech. Degree (2016) from Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai (C.G.). He has been associated with academia for 8+ years. His research is centred on developing and managing IoT-based Ontologies for inter-domain communication and solving the Interoperability issue. He closely relates to the Semantic Web, IoT, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning technologies.
