Overview

The Enthusia 4.0 Annual Function of Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur was held with great enthusiasm and energy, showcasing the talents and achievements of students in both technical and cultural domains. The event, which took place on 19-21 Feb 2025, was a grand celebration of innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity, and artistic expression, bringing together students, faculty, and guests to witness the culmination of a year's worth of hard work, dedication, and creativity. Grand Opening Ceremony has been conducted on 19 Feb 2025. The distinguished guests- Mr. Nitin Sachdeva, President, delaPlex, Mr. Partha Maitra, Resident Editor, The Times of India, Nagpur and Mr. Akash Singh, Vice President, Product Strategy and Growth, Pragmatyc have graced the occasion.

The event was divided into two major segments: Technical Events and the Cultural Events. Each segment not only displayed the skills and knowledge of students but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and spirit of teamwork.


SITNovate

SITNovate, The hackathon was a 24-hour coding challenge where 49 teams were tasked with developing innovative software solutions to real-world problems. Such events where the brightest minds compete in a 24-hour coding marathon gives Breakthrough solutions, intense problem-solving, and an innovation-packed showdown. From 19 Feb 2025, Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Nagpur, hosted SITNovate, a thrilling hackathon that brought together the best minds in tech. After 24 hours of non-stop coding, the results were declared on 20 Feb 2025. Our Honorable Jury Members Mr. Tufan Kilicaslan, Founder, Coding Event Software Solutions, Türkiye, IEEE Senior Member, Mr. Dhiraj Motghare, Director of Engineering – GlobalLogic, Mr. Mohit Vyas, Software Engineer, Accenture, India, Ms. Nilima Rao, Persistent, India, Ms. Nidhi Shingade, Technical Consultant, Perficient Inc, Nagpur, India, Dr. Ravindra Jogekar, Executive Member ACM Nagpur, Mr. Bhushan Netke, Consultant, Global Logic Software Technologies. Despite the sleepless grind, participants pushed their limits to develop cutting-edge solutions.

SITank a Startup Exhibition

Entrepreneurship Cell of Symbiosis Institute of Technology Nagpur Maharashtra had the privilege of hosting SITank 2025, a Fund Raiser Opportunity for the Startups!! It was a gathering of 32 startups and 90 founders. Budding entrepreneurs pitched their startup ideas to a panel of investors, industry leaders, and mentors, battling it out for funding, mentorship, and recognition. The most innovative and scalable ideas walked away with prizes and potential investment opportunities! Organizers offered heartfelt thanks for the able guidance of Dr. Abhay Deshmukh, Director, Incubein Foundation, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur, Priyanka Rajput, CEO, Incubein Foundation, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur, Mr. Akash Singh, Vice-President, Pragmatycs, Mr. Abhishek Angole, Executive Director, TiE Nagpur, Mr. Aliasger Wagh, CFA, Parle-G Biscuits. Mr. Dhiraj Bhagat, Charter Member, TiE Nagpur and a special eminent personality Dr. Hemant Sonare. Their support, guidance, and commitment to fostering innovation in the startup ecosystem are truly invaluable. Events like SITank 2025 reminded the power of collaboration, learning, and community in turning big ideas into reality.

Codesprint

The "Code Sprint" was an exhilarating competitive coding event organized to foster problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and algorithmic expertise among participants. The event attracted a diverse group of coders, ranging from beginners to experienced programmers, all eager to test their abilities in a high-pressure, time-bound environment. Teams displayed incredible problem-solving skills, with coding competing in performing various tasks autonomously. The winning team demonstrated superior technical skills in programming. Such events help build confidence and prepare participants for real-world challenges in the tech industry.

Overview

The cultural segment of the annual function celebrated the diversity of talents at the college. Students participated in a range of activities that highlighted their artistic and creative abilities. Students from various cultural groups presented traditional and contemporary dance performances. The performances were full of energy and showcased impressive choreography and synchronization, reflecting both cultural roots and modern dance trends. Solo and group music competitions were held, with performances ranging from classical music to contemporary band performances. The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with a high level of talent on display. A glamorous fashion show where students showcased their creativity in fashion design and presentation. The show was a hit, highlighting students' unique sense of style and modern fashion trends. RJ Nisha was the judge of the event. The Enthusia 4.0 was closed with the fabulous celebrity Night with DJ. Innovation event Squid Game X Alice in Borderland Challenge, the ultimate survival battle has been organized and attracted the attention of many students.

Dikshant was the highlight of the Celebrity Night, captivating the audience with his exceptional musical artistry. He did not merely perform songs; he crafted immersive auditory experiences that resonated deeply with listeners. His ability to transform a performance into an intimate and emotionally charged journey set him apart as a true artist, seamlessly blending storytelling with melody.Similarly, DJ Vaibhav demonstrated his mastery of sound, orchestrating an electrifying musical experience that transcended conventional DJ performances. Rather than simply playing tracks, he meticulously curated an energetic atmosphere, ensuring that every beat and drop resonated with the audience. His dynamic control over the music transformed the event into a thrilling spectacle, leaving attendees exhilarated and engaged. When DJ Vaibhav takes the stage, the night does not merely begin—it ignites with unparalleled energy and excitement.

The winners of the technical, sports and cultural events were awarded with trophies and certificates. Prof. (Dr.) Nitin Rakesh, Director along with the Dr. Pradnya Borkar, SRC Incharge, Dr Snehlata Wankhade, SRC Co-Incharge, Dr. Princy Diwan, SRC Co-coordinator, Dr. Sudhanshu Mourya, Coordinator SITNovate, Dr Nilesh Shelke, Coordinator SITank, Dr Bharat Tidke, Coordinator Codesprint and other faculty members have distributed the awards, acknowledging the outstanding efforts of students.
